WARNING: Personal post, in response to new...
I just wanted to say thanks! I’ve never done a “OMGZ NEW FOLLOWERZ!” post, but I kind of feel obligated, because I just noticed that my follower number is higher than I ever thought it would be. (Still under 100, but I never expected any at all.)
So thanks so much! I’m glad you like my graphics and such. I only have a handful of friends and acquaintances also on Tumblr...

Boyfriend’s mom: ”Yes.”
[She goes to their living room’s bookshelf and pulls out two ORIGINAL, FIRST EDITION ETIQUETTE BOOKS, straight from 1924, and proceeds to read about the servant jobs, the proper ways to throw a funeral, etc....

The internet is great/terrible.
Great: Sleigh Bells, live via Youtube.
Terrible: Someone on Facebook JUST DISCOVERING ‘Jack Sparrow’, AND POSTING IT AS IF IT WERE NEW.

areasofmyexpertise:
Some of you internet users who are also NEWSPAPER USERS may have noticed a new mini-feature in the New York Times Magazine (my old ALMA MATER) in the ONE PAGE MAGAZINE section called….
ASK JUDGE JOHN HODGMAN
(I had wanted to called it JUDGE JOHN HODGMAN’S VEST POCKET ARGUMENT SETTLER after THIS delightfully weird little book. But as they are trying to fit a whole magazine...

Three things:
1. I post-emptively (not a word, don’t care) made my 7 Songs of Christmas into 6.5 Songs of Christmas. Super bummed that I couldn’t get around to that last one. Please accept this picture I made of my boyfriend for his birthday instead.
2. I want to get rid of music that I don’t listen to, but if I do that, I probably will have like 10 songs left. Very behind on the whole...

Seven Songs of Christmas
So I had the idea to make a graphic a day until Christmas based on holiday songs I like. I just finished one and will post it tomorrow. There will be Sufjan. And possibly Community. Maybe Colbert. We’ll see.
Suggestions?
I don’t actually listen to too much x-mas music, but what I know, I really like. Not a giant fan of the radio classics. Quirky is always good.
